Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the TEKHUB NG website, our tech training programs, and the free tools we publish. By using this site or submitting a registration, you agree to them.
01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the TEKHUB NG website at tekhub.ng (the "Site"), submitting a registration or application, subscribing to our newsletter, posting a blog comment, or otherwise interacting with any part of the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.
These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data collected through the Site.
02Our Services
TEKHUB NG is a technology innovation hub based in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. Through this Site we offer, among other things:
- Tech training and academy programs across tracks such as web development, front-end and back-end engineering, AI prompt engineering, machine learning, robotics, hardware engineering, home automation (IoT), cybersecurity, data science and analytics, digital marketing, graphics design, kids coding, DevOps, blockchain, and other listed tracks.
- An application and registration process for these programs, via the Register page.
- A blog with articles, tutorials, and a comment section for reader discussion.
- Free interactive tools, including a browser-fingerprint demonstration tool and a photo EXIF-metadata viewer, published for privacy education purposes (see Section 5 below).
- Community, portfolio, and informational content describing our co-working space, hardware/CCTV/home automation services, and past project work.
We may add, modify, or discontinue any part of these services at our discretion, with or without notice.
03Registration & Accounts
When you submit the registration form on our Register page, you provide your first name, middle name, surname, email address, phone number, gender, date of birth, city, address, a preferred training track, your experience level, how you heard about us, a short motivation statement, a password, and, if you choose to add one, a profile photo.
Your profile photo's background is removed entirely inside your own browser before anything is uploaded, using a locally-hosted machine-learning model; the original, unprocessed photo is never transmitted to us or to any third party. Only the final cropped image you confirm is uploaded with your application.
Submitting the form creates an application, not an instant enrollment. Applications are reviewed by our team and move through a status such as pending, reviewed, shortlisted, or rejected. We will contact you at the email or phone number you provide about the status of your application.
You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your contact details up to date. You must be old enough to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction, or have the involvement of a parent or guardian; see Section 9 of our Privacy Policy regarding programs open to minors, such as our kids coding track.
04User Conduct
When using the Site, including the blog comment section and any contact or messaging widget, you agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or impersonated information in a registration, application, or comment;
- Post spam, harassment, hate speech, or unlawful content in comments or through our contact channels;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site, its database, or any connected system;
- Use the free tools described in Section 5 to gather information about another person without their knowledge or consent, or for any unlawful surveillance purpose;
- Scrape, republish, or resell content or data from the Site without our written permission.
We may remove content, decline or cancel an application, or restrict access to the Site for anyone who violates these Terms.
05Free Tools Disclaimer
We publish two free, educational browser tools:
- A browser fingerprint demo, which displays technical information your own browser and network already expose in real time (such as device, browser, GPU, and approximate location derived from your IP address via a third-party geolocation lookup performed directly by your browser).
- A photo EXIF viewer, which reads the metadata embedded in a photo you choose to upload, entirely inside your browser.
These tools are provided "as is", for educational and awareness purposes only, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. You are responsible for how you use them and for respecting the privacy of others.
06Intellectual Property
The Site's design, text, graphics, course materials, logos, and the "TEKHUB" and "TEKHUB NG" names are the property of TEKHUB Nigeria Limited or its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this material without our prior written consent, other than for normal personal browsing of the Site.
If you post a comment or submit content through the Site, you grant TEKHUB NG a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and moderate that content on the Site. You remain responsible for what you post.
07Fees & Payment
Course fees vary by track and are not published as fixed figures on this Site. For a current fee schedule and available payment structures (including bank transfer, card payment, and installment plans on some tracks), please contact us directly at services@tekhub.ng. Specific payment and refund terms for a given cohort will be set out in the enrollment agreement provided to you once your application is reviewed, and those enrollment-specific terms govern over any general statement here.
08Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TEKHUB Nigeria Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any of its tools or services.
09Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to any part of the Site, or decline, withdraw, or cancel a registration or application, at our discretion, including where we believe these Terms have been violated. You may stop using the Site, or ask us to delete your submitted data, at any time by contacting us as described in Section 12.
10Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Anambra State, Nigeria.
11Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services or for legal or operational reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
