Where it genuinely helps learning

• Personalized practice. Generating extra practice problems at a student's specific skill level, on demand, instead of one-size-fits-all worksheets.
• Explaining the same concept three different ways. Some students need a second or third explanation in different words — AI is patient in a way a packed classroom schedule isn't.
• Instructor prep time. Drafting quiz questions, lesson outlines, and rubrics faster, leaving more instructor time for actually teaching.

Where it quietly undermines learning

Letting a student get a finished answer before they've struggled with the problem removes the exact friction that builds understanding. The rule TEKHUB instructors use: AI can check your work or explain a concept, but it doesn't get to do the work for you.

How TEKHUB Academy actually uses it

Instructors use AI to generate variations of practice exercises so no two cohorts get identical assignments, and to speed up grading first-pass code submissions — freeing time for the one-on-one feedback that actually moves a student from "it runs" to "I understand why it runs."
