Every week, a new AI tool launches with a demo that looks unstoppable. Every week, most of them get tried once and abandoned. That gap — between what AI can do in a five-minute demo and what it actually does inside a real business — is the whole reason AI-Vantage exists.

The problem we kept running into

At TEKHUB, we sit at the intersection of two groups: students learning to build with AI, and small businesses across Anambra and beyond trying to figure out if any of this is worth their time. Both groups kept asking versions of the same question: "Okay, but does it actually work for what I need?"

Most AI content answers that question with a demo. AI-Vantage answers it with a session — a weekly, hands-on look at one specific AI capability, tested against a real Nigerian business context, with the failures left in.

What every session covers

• One capability, not a tour. Each episode picks a single thing AI is supposedly good at — writing, research, automation, coding, customer support — and goes deep on just that.
• A real constraint. Nigerian bandwidth, naira-denominated budgets, offline-first workflows, small teams wearing five hats. We test against the constraints our community actually has.
• What broke. If a tool failed halfway through, that's in the session too. Confident failure reports are more useful than cherry-picked wins.
• A next step. Every session ends with something you can try that week, not a reading list.
